Is there anything that im not at risk for??

All I want is to be natural because with all this research it just seems like I would have been different if I was born naturally rather than by c section and breast fed instead of formula fed. It sounds mad but im not the only one there were others worried last week.

Whats all this about? http://www.medicine.mcgill.ca/mjm/issues/v03n01/anoxia.html

No wonder im always depressed/anxious my brain probably isn't how it should be, I can understand you thinking im a nutter but its the researchers that are comming up with this stuff not me. No one else seems bothered about how they were born and fed but how come im actually bothered about being natural yet am unlucky enough to have an unnatural past history and risk factors lol.

Are you a rat?

What is it exactly that your worried about? That article is a bit scientific for me lol. I'd stop worrying about how your past may affect your health you can't do anything about it now.

Im worried that I would have been better and not had anxiety depression if things had have gone natural..it does mention something about c section rats having more stress. Im sure there is a more human study lol I accidently came across the rat one.

lol  Being born C-Section or Naturally makes no difference. Have loads of friends who were born c-section, and their perfectly healthy

Personally I think it's a load of *******s. Why not try looking for a solution to your problems rather than trying to place the blame somewhere? It's not like there's anything you can do about it even if it does all magically turn out to be true.

I'm sorry you feel that this has caused your anxiety/depression but a lot of ppl get it who were born naturally, and your anxiety/depression is probably just a mixture of your external environment (maybe you have had a tough time?) or maybe you are just prone to it (its often inherited). It may just be part of being a teenager with all those hormones and the stress of it all. It could just be a chemical imbalance in the brain. I don't reckon its cos of the way u were born.

Blame/cause its the same thing, I like looking for the cause of things whether its my fault or not.

My boyfriend was born by C-Section and was formula fed - and he is fine. Depression and anxiety can be influenced by 'biological' factors, as well as environmental ones: does anyone in your family suffer from anxiety?

There's nothing that you can do by worrying about how things might have been different had you been born naturally or breast fed. In fact, it's incredibly un-productive. You just have to realise that those are factors out of your control, and that they are, in fact, unlikely to have any significant impact whatsoever on your health today.

Yea all those seem likely, Ive always been anxious and a bit weird/odd even in infant school which made me think of things that could have caused it. Just a bit of self reflection:redface:

No one in my family but my parents have never been very sociable and quiet (not that thats a bad thing) so could be lots of things. I believe that last sentence but when doctors and researchers are comming out with all these findings I think well they are the intelligent ones, if they question the idea that how you are born effects personality and who you become then maybe its not nonsense like I think it is.

Im not too bothered but it pops up in my head now and again even when im busy, maybe others are like this?

Oh don't blame it on me. You need to gain some perspective. You can only be a small number of people since you insist on posting about similar things when you're not anon. Why bother hiding?

Have you ever thought about focusing on the things in your life which you actually have some control over?

What and how am I blaming you:confused: I meant that I can't really talk in real life about it..I sound like anutter right? and plus what people judge on here doesn't matter as much as in life. I posted a similar thread the other day thats it and anyway loads of people on here have anxiety and depression and post about it. I do focus on what I can control but stupidly I always think about what I can't control.

Its probably not for any reason, its just you and your personality, and you gotta learn to love yourself!

I had my catecholamine levels analysed and it came up with raised dopamine levels (just repeated it a few days ago and waiting for the results). I suppose raised dopamine can explain my rather erratic temprament and gloomy constantly stressed outlook...
