I have recently started my second year of a levels and am happy with my AS results. However I have become very worried due to 1 of my subjects. Last year was my second doing AS levels as I did very poorly in my first year and had to resit. In my first year i took 4 subjects including psychology which I got a U in. Last year I resat swapping 1 of my subjects for Computing. I wasnt very confident coming up to the exams but got a B in Computing and C in Psychology. I decided that I should take Computing as I got a B in 1 year rather than Psychology (C in 2 years). However as our school and teachers are inexperienced in this only 4 students are continuing into A2 and this makes me worried about my grade this year due to this being the 1st year taking computing at the college i go to.I am worried as I want to go to a good uni next year which would mean getting at least a B or C.I am worried about computing as I dont know how whether the exam will be difficult as my weakness is coding and algorithms and also I am not sure how good my project idea is which has me worried. My question is which should I chose considering I got a relatively low B in computing last year but it is a lot of unknown whereas psychology I am told by my friends I can do decently well in and have "better" teachers for but I am not amazing at essays which make up 2/3rds of the second year? Anyone with experience in A2 Computing is it difficult and if I got a B in AS could I get 2 Bs for a B or at least 2 Ds for a C? All replies appreciated.
