a level media coursework

One of the tasks for my coursework is to produce some pages from a magazine from a lifestyle topic of your choice. I want to do one about dogs but I'm unsure if this would be classed as a lifestyle magazine or not? Anybody know? Thanks
I don't think so, lifestyle is more home, cooking, fashion etc... But ask your teacher just in case :smile:
You could twist it around and do a couple of celebrity dogs and how they are treated like royalty
I'm doing the same Brief of the course as you are, and I'm doing a Vogue-style magazine. My friend was late joining the course, and she has decided to do Brief 2 and create a gardening magazine.
Some other examples from my class are;

Beauty/makeup

Technology (computers and stuff)

Film reviews (like the already existing Empire and Total Film)

TV guide (with their own made up shows)

Knitting

Book Reviews

Football

•

Dancing (I saw my friend's research for this and it was stunning and a really unique one to create)

Music (like Q and NME)

The list is endless really, maybe pick a hobby that you do? Or if you want to do one about dogs, maybe do a magazine that's all about Dog Training and include things like Crufts and 'local competitions' (you can easily make these up if there aren't any)
