I'll let you guys do the talking
I'll explain what brought me to this question after 3 or 4 replies!(Should I delete this part)
Thanks to anyone who gives answers!!!!!
    (BTW I'm just intrigued)

Say you get a job opportunity that may make you rich (I'm not gonna specify ) Talking about over $150k a year... And you gave it up for someone else who is a 'colleague'/friend. I know i made the first mistake by giving it up as I mixed friendship with business. However I really think she will be happy and so I just didn't doubt myself at that moment, but now I regret it. If I had another chance I'm sure I'd give it up but then regret myself again.

Would you give up that opportunity for a friend (not gonna specify who it is (you probably don't care) in terms of age, gender or what job) Thanks for any new answers!!!!!!!!

BTW I know you guys gonna laugh because it had to do with money but that opportunity would've nearly tripled my income!!!

For a partner or relative, yes.

For someone in neither of those categories, to a certain extent but depends on the situation and what I can do - maybe there's a balance somewhere.

I would . But it depends who though. If it was my parents, family or generally just close friends then of course I will

Depends for how long. Life? No, might as well just not live then?
