I've been doing A2 for a week, and after getting disappointing AS results, carried on with the subjects I enjoyed.
I carried on with French despite getting an E in it at AS with the hope to resit the AS exam- (everyone got lower results than expected due to the grade boundary changes).
However, I got a C in AS Media with minimal effort being put in, I didn't enjoy it at all and I dropped it.
Now I feel like that was a stupid decision due to doing much better in it.

Should I change French to Media and just stick out this year and put the effort in?
Also,Will a higher result in Media look better than a lower result in French (as french is harder?

It's a hard decision really. If you think you will work hard and come out with a decent grade, then perhaps stick with French as you enjoy it more. However there are other things to take into account; are you thinking of going to university? if so, perhaps think about what the entry requirements are and which subject will make it easier to meet those requirements!
