I am now in year 13 and considering university options, but I just don't know what to do!

I've always hoped to study English, however where to do it is the real question.

My AS results do not showcase what I know I'm capable of and with the right amount of work, I will improve them next year.

I got the following results and am continuing to study all four subjects this year.

    English Literature - A
    History - A
    French - B
    Philosophy - C

I am going to re-sit my worst philosophy exam (my teacher was surprised at my results because I've performed much better in essays etc) and I'm hoping to push it up to an A next year.

I have booked open days at both York and Warwick but I just have no idea!
Does anybody studying English, or just in the same boat as me, have any suggestions?

Also any personal statement tips would be lovely.

    Thank you.
