I haven't yet told my parents my science GCSE grade that I did early in year 10 which was a C and I haven't got the guts to tell them I didn't do so well. I could get a remark as I'm 4 marks away from B but its really expensive and I really want to tell them without them getting angry...

A C is nothing to be ashamed of for sciences. I mean if it's a subject that you aren't particularly fond of then I'd just look at it as a positive, as you have passed it. However, if it's a subject you are wanting to take on at A-level then I can see why you are a little disappointed.
Personally, just tell your parents, I'm sure if you talk to them about the circumstances for example, if it just isn't a subject your passionate and talented at (which everyone has), they will be fine about and move on!!!

How could your parents not know? Didn't they remember when you were [supposed to be] revising? Did they not get letters home about the exams etc.?
