Without looking up a definition i'd guess the following:

Field experiment would have to be an experiment (e.g. manipulating some sort of variable by the experimenter, however an experiment done in a natural setting rather inside the lab).

A field study is more broader and can probably include experiments, however this could also include simple observational studies.

If you went to a men's toilet and watched how many people washed their hands with soap this would be a field study. If you did the same thing but in one condition you had a sign saying "please wash your hands" and another condition without a sign this would be considered an experiment.
