    Hi

    quick question; has anyone's online account told them that tuition fees will be paid to the student? basically when i log on i see my student loan which they are paying direct to the uni; it also shows these same sums being paid to the 'student' i.e me? anyone have this issue?

    Not heard of that. Your tuition fees are paid directly to the uni. Can you post a screenshot please?

    Are you sure it says "to the student" and not "by the student"? As OU Student says, a screenshot (with personal details blacked out) would help.

    Never heard of that before. Is your degree a standard full-time three year course? The uni isn't private?

    ETA: Given that those payments total £18000 for your first year and the maximum tuition fee SF will pay is £9000, I strongly suspect it's some sort of error on their part. I'd ring them and check.
