Further math topics.

Hey, I'm in a pickle for what to study in A2 Fmath.

I did FP1, M1 and M2 for AS, 95/100/72(Resitting for 90%)

I'm covering FP2, FP3 and an undecided option with our teacher(4 people in our class).

However, my teacher refuses to teach FP4/M3 as he says they're too much effort, is it much harder than the other further modules? Because I'm much more interested in pure math than applied stuff.

Thanks

*I plan on self-teaching D2 regardless, as I want extra modules as a back up plan.

I think FP4 is easier than FP2. FP4 can seem quite daunting at first but really it really isn't too bad when you get into it. FP4 papers are probably about the same difficulty as FP3 papers. Haven't done M3 so can't say anything about it.
I would definitely do FP4 if you like the further pure maths modules - as I do - if you're teacher has made it sound really difficult then you have been mislead slightly. FP2 is easily the hardest further pure module in terms of the exam papers. FP4 papers are nowhere near as hard as FP2 I'd say
