Well... it was a long time coming. At times, I honestly thought I was finished, that it was over and all was lost, that I had no hope, my dreams... shattered. Months went by without any progress, always being forced to turn the wheel down a notch in defeat, to 2.8 mm. This is it, this is it I though... but alas I was wrong... I was wrong.

I turned my electric trimmer to the 3 mm setting this morning, and shaved my beard to it's glorious new length, a full 0.2 mm longer than the 2.8 mm I was stuck on for so long. I still have a long journey ahead of me, but I today celebrate. Change is coming.

What? No! You must have misread my post. My beard has thickened enough for me to up the length to 3 mm from a previous 2.8 mm, whilst still looking good.

*golf clap* but not a sarcastic golf clap, an approving golf clap. I believe a golf clap is the correct level of praise for this situation
