I've never really been without my parents so I wouldn't know. I need to buy some stuff for uni; mainly bedding, cutlery and home-ware items. Do Ikea sell stuff for an affordable price or nah?

It's cheaper than a lot of places, but I definitely don't think it's anywhere near as cheap as people make it out to be. You can definitely find stuff cheaper in Wilko and Asda.

Edit: Also try in home bargains or a B&M home store for cheap homeware. I got some bedding and a couple of bits and bobs from there. Cheaper than anywhere else.

If you mean cheap as in price, I don't really know. But if you mean cheap as in quality-hell yes!

Watch out with bedding, the sizes are different to uk sizes... Good balance on cost/quality. For super cheap try wilko

It's not cheap. It's cheaper than designer, but not cheap. I would second Wilko and Asda. Any big supermarket would do if you can't find either of those near you, but I think Wilko and Asda are the cheapest near me.

Yes everything is cheap but you have to be a handyman and build everything yourself (well the cheap stuff at least). Luckily my dad does all of that for me. Get a relative who is a DIY kind of person to build stuff for you.
