The entry requirements for one of the courses I want to apply for are BBC, but I only got CCCD in my AS subjects. Will they even consider me, and if not, how should I go about convincing universities to accept me with such awful grades?

Drop the D subject and try to get BBB or BBC predictions. If your predictions meet the requirements it shouldn't matter too much. (Just make sure you work hard to actually get these grades in the end)

yes you'll be considered as usually your predicted grades are 1 above your AS results (well it does depend on you school)
