Ok, I've got a resit in this paper tommorow and I can only remember a limited amount of the content for it because I have not studied it for a year, so if anyone can give me some idea about the things that they consider to be absolutely essential background knowledge then I would be most grateful!!!

    Reorganisation of the Nazi party
The importance of certain figures e.g Goebbels, Strasser

I cant think of anything else, so that probably covers it - hopefully coz thats wat i've revised

Reorganisation? You mean after Hitler's release from prison in 1926 how he refounded the party upon the principles which it had originally been formed?

I can never answer the person quetions very well because I'm never sure what they would like me to tell them about any given individual.

So....what did people make of da rise of nazis and weimar exams??

I thought the weimar was easier than rise of nazis....for weimar i did q1a and b

Rise of Nazis was okay...ididnt like the goebbles question as before 1933 he only had a limited role......basically i wrote about how he wanted to promote socialism with strasser until bamberg and then hitler won him round and he came gaulieter of berlin,,,,anything else i should have mentioned???

How did others find it .... i reckon boundery for A will be relatively low

I agree unit 2 was fairly straight forward. I did 1a and b also.

But for Unit 1 I couldn't answer the Goebbels question very well at all because I dint think to revise him. All i mentioned was propoganda and him being the Gau for Berlin. Otherwise I think I answered the rest of the paper really well. Hopefully.

Was alright, the Goebbels question was a bit harsh but I just threw in his role during electorial campaign and how he shaped the outward image of the party. Wrote a bit about his role in refounding the party after Hitler's release and how it eventually it all eventually led to him being minister for enlightenment and propaganda in the future (tried to show that knowledge of continuity in History they talked about). Considering I only revised for about an hour I think it went ok, thankfully Im not too bothered by my grade in History.
