I have been researching away trying to narrow down degrees to apply for in the future and I have many interests. Two of the very specific subjects are Paleontology and Marine Biology. Difficult subjects when coming to finding a career I know but nonetheless I need some help. Could anyone help narrow down the best degrees and universities for these subjects as my search has proved quite difficult. I know with paleontology you can either study geology or earth sciences first then do a master in the paleontology but I need some help finding the right university where they are known for either subject. I've heard Plymouth is a good place for Marine Biology but I am not sure of a university where they are known for there paleontology research. So anyway I hope someone knows a lot more then I do and can help me by recommending the best places to study Paleontology and Marine Biology?

    Thanks in advance.

You're going to have to do your own research and find out which unis offer which courses and pick the one that interests you most.

Bristol University is probably the best place to go if you want to specialize in palaeontology. Though I've also heard UCL has quite a good palaeontological department as well.

As for Marine Biology, the first place that springs to mind would be Southampton University, they're supposed to be really good in that department.
