"A recent survey of 1,365 Syrians from all 14 governorates of the country found some surprising attitudes. Consider this: A fifth of those interviewed said the Islamic State -- the brutal Islamist group known for its beheadings, that rules over large swaths of Syria and Iraq -- is a positive influence on the country. And 82 percent said that they believe the Islamic State was created by the United States and its allies.

The Syria survey was conducted by ORB International, a U.K.-based market research firm, from June 10 to July 2. The poll has a margin of error of +/-3 percentage points.

The majority of Syrians interviewed said they believe that the situation is worsening, and only 21 percent said they preferred their life today than when Syria was fully controlled by Bashar al-Assad's regime. Nearly half of Syrians surveyed said they opposed U.S.-coalition airstrikes, and nearly 80 percent said that the war has gotten worse because of the influx of foreign fighters. Yet there is also sense of hope: The majority of Syrians surveyed said a diplomatic solution was possible to end the war, and that Syrians can set aside their difference and live side by side again."

So there are now more than likely thousands of IS supporters moving into Europe.

A lot won't know the facts. Many will also see ISIS as the fight against Assad. And foreign fighters are the reason that ISIS have been able to gain support, it's helped their recruitment a lot.

Also those who think well of ISIS aren't exactly likely to come to the EU.

Anyone can make them up, but some are conducted by legitimate and respected pollsters who have to abide by legal guidelines, such as ORB. If you don't base your opinions on legitimate evidence, what do you base them on?

I think we should house all the refugees in Europe on humanitarian grounds. Camps are not adequate they should be equally split between EU countries and more so to countries which can afford to offer more help!

They will suffer because of the way the government will handle the crisis brought about by a few terrorist attacks.

The people of the country will demand they take action and muslims will be made to go home if they are recent arrivals and restrictions will be implemented on those who can't be sent home.

This will not end well and it is muslims who will suffer.

Not really. Muslims are growing globally make up 1 in 4 of the population. UK cannot afford to discriminate on religious grounds. We need all we can get.

If anything muslims in the UK are prospering have doubled in size.

Muslims have tried to invade Europe before and failed and they will fail again

In the UK muslims are about 5% and already most people are unhappy about it and the demands being made to tolerate outright intolerance so your one in for claim is nonsense it's about 1 in 20

This is not going to get better and will only get worse. Just don't act all surprised when it goes pear shaped.

as I said at some point the people of this country will react and it's not going to be pretty.

The people will never react in today's politically correct environment. The UK will be an all Muslim country before people start to react and by then it is obviously too late.

I don't see your logic on the final point. Surely the 20% of Syrians who are ISIS supporters are more likely to stay in Syria, while the 80% who no longer feel safe in their country will be the ones to leave. It's unlikely that these people, who think their country is much better with ISIS, are going to be the ones fleeing from it, because they feel that their lives have become better.
