I want to do the Globalisation course at Brighton, but I can't find any other similar courses to use as my other 4 options. I've looked at International Relations courses too, which I also find interesting.

How can I write a personal statement which is focused enough on Globalisation but also wide enough to apply to International Relations? Also, any ideas on what kind of things I should write about for those particular courses?

The globalisation course looks like it has a history politics and culture focus so why not look for similar courses and apply for those. I think you can also get politics and international relations courses which may also interest you. Have a look and tailor your statement accordingly with a good mix of the subjects.
