Getting spots ever since I used this cream

I got this exfoliating cream for oily skin gift and I started using it last week and since then I've got tiny spots around my nose, a more obvious one on my forehead, and on my cheek.

Is this meant to happen? Is the cream just wrong?

I asked my brother about it and he said that all the crap in your face starts to come out when you use these cleansing creams. Is he right?

If you have oily skin you don't need a 'cream' for your face of any kind, use a cleansing scrub or gel instead :yy:

Just stop using it :p:

Random creams make my skin spotty and its better if i just leave my skin alone without putting fancy stuff on it, theres no need. All you need to use is soap (like simple soap free bar) and a light moisturisor if you need it.

I'm thinking the same. I've used a variety of creams and most just made the situation worse. So now that I don't use any of those 'spot cream' I have clear skin...weird I know.
