i wont feel like crap if we lose

because at least it leaves us with 2 more(very tough) games to put things right again
england will go through second in their group though, i'm quite sure of that.

If Carragher plays, he won't match Henry for pace, whereas King will.

Trezeguet is key man for France.

    England's key man is Gerrard.

dont get me wrong I know that England have their faults, i am no way saying that we are the best team in the world. But i really dont think there is any team in this tournament that stands out as being great:

Holland - massive dressing room split, no team spirit

France: shaky Keeper, Desailly too old, Zidane off Form

Spain - always underachieve, Raul has been poor, only 5 goals all season, weak defence

Italy - big failures in the world cup, most of the team is too old now

germany - never rule them out, but they are simplay not as good as the used to be

your tottenham bias makes me laugh

Ledley, is one for the future, but he has had a bit of a mixed season and hasn't played in defence enough at club level let alone international level

yeah they probably have the best individuals in the world but they never get on

firstly there is the alleged Racism thing, where the black players dont get on with the whites

but the main problem is the PSV and Ajax conncection

    massive split

on the PSV side there is:

    Ruud van horseface
    van Bomell
    Bouma
    Stam etc

on the Ajax side there is:

    Davids
    Kluivert
    Van Der Vaart
    Seedorf etc

King is solid, and being able to play defensive midfield gives England another option. His ball-playing skills, also enable him to be a good replacement for Terry and Ferdinand, who do the same jobs.

King also can pop up with crucial goals; Carragher does too - but in his own net.

And James had better watch out - Robinson's going for the goalkeeping slot!
