Sick of wasting time

Im 22 in December and have not had a proper job since I quit uni at 19. Ive done part time work but nothing secure where money is paid in for your pension etc.
Ive had a few issues with depression and would like to start uni this year but have been rejected (I applied OT but was rejected so decided to apply for nursing. The guidance woman told me to send in a seperate PS but I was rejected within a few days so didn't hae time so will have to apply again next year.) I just feel like I am getting older and older and am sick of having gap years!! I keep wondering if there is a chance I can convince the uni to let me in and send a different PS. It seems stupid waiting another year just because I sent an irrelevant PS in. If I start uni next year I will be almost 23 which means I will be 26/27 before I have a proper job and this seems pathetic, I won't get much pension when im old, I know you will laugh at this but its true right.

Can't you blag an interview? I'm trying to change my course to one which im not really qualified to do...however I think I'm going to get an interview and if I do I kow I will get in because I am passionate!

It's really hard to write about yourself without sounding big headed and OTT, so maybe if you actually spoke to admissions you could get your foot in the door so to speak...

Exactly I nearly screwed up my chances of Uni, but I wouldnt quit till I got my spot on my dream course.

I think you should ger ur PS checked, if you keep gettin rejected but have the grades, simple things like spelling errors could put them off.
Also apply through clearing????
You have all the time in the world on gap years to prepare
