So I'm doing a piece of homework on surds and indices and there's a question on simplifying surds with indices; on one part I can't tell which of two things it is:

Is it

((\sqrt[4]{a})^3 \times \sqrt{b})^{24}

Or is it

(\sqrt[4]{a} \times \sqrt[3]{b})^{24}

I'm leaning more towards the latter, but I thought I'd get some other opinions just to be safe.
