Yeah. I mean, plenty of communists, but they're friendly enough. They just give you leaflets that you throw away straight after

LOL... useless aren't they?
I didn't see any commie groups yesterday :frown:
when I visited for the open day, there was a stand set up by people saying it's unfair to deny North Korea the bomb.

Best. Political view. EVAR >_<

Oh yes. Hilarious bunch they are.

They are the only ones who shout loud enough to be heard. Everyone else just doesn't care.

If Israel have the bomb, why shouldnt North Korea ?
Both nations are equally peace loving.

Because Israel is a free deomcratic nation with open dialogues with the rest of the world, and North korea is propped up by a mad man's oppressive regime? With a brain like yours, something tells me you don't have much chance of getting into Oxford OR SOAS.

[sarcasm]Well judging by how often you post in this forum you clearly go to SOAS[/sarcasm]
Regardless of one's view on Isreal's foriegn policy, it's... simply fact that Isreal is a more politically stable country than North Korea. Isreal had pleanty of food, they don't need to pull stunts like misille demonstration's to ensure international aid, not the safest hands for nukes.

On subject: Oxford if you plan on going into a prestigious carreer, SOAS if university in a big city is more your bag, there's nothing to say you can't do both at different points in your life.

Oxford, without a doubt. I'm not going to bother justifying this as it should be a no brainer.
WokSz: cheesecakebobby's a better forum poster than you, without a doubt. I'm not going to bother justifying this as it should be a no brainer.

It's not a no brainer as these three pages of discussion indicate. SOAS is a good enough university for non-academic factors to have relivance when contrasting it with Oxford. If one wants (slightly) more free time, a more exciting city, and doesn't nessisarily want to work in the city (not that a SOAS degree wouldn't allow one to work in the city, but obviously and Oxbridge degree has great weight there), then SOAS may be a better choice for them.
It all depends what one wants to get out of their uni experience.
