How to get in IB??????????????/

Hello guys,
I am in A2 at the moment and I am interested in becoming an IB and I know about of the long hours but it still excites me. However, is going to Uni the only way or are there some apprenticeships that I could apply and develop and then become an IB??

So Uni vs Alternatives
If there are any alternatives please list them, thanks.

I'd suggest going to the IB and consulting forum and readimg the 'intro to IB' thread; as they had listed everything.
