Physics help AS level?

Hiya so I'm doing "suvat" questions, and I've been given this question but im not sure what to fill in where, and what equasion I must use? The question is
"Joe drops a ball on ben's foot. How long does the ball take to fall 1m?"
I know the displacement is 1m and the acceleration is 9.81m/s I think? Just a bit stuck though really appreciate the help, thanks!

S = 1 (as you've said)
U = 0 (as its starting from a stand still)
V = / (we do not need this)
A = 9.81 (as the ball is falling under gravity - as you've said)
T = ? (what we want to find out)

As we do not want V, we want the equation s=ut+1/2at^2

1=(0)(t)+1/2(9.81)(t)^2
1=4.905t^2
1/4.905=t^2
t=0.452 seconds (3 sig fig)

Hope that helps!
