    manganate is a stronger oxidising agent and heat is used in the experiment
    so it is more likely to become carboxylic acid

    Well I think it was 10(high) 5(low) B

    You will get one for the getting the symbol but 1 lost for putting 11 mass number - it clearly said it had 5 protons and 5 neutrons (remember electrons for the purpose of this question have the equivalent of no mass).
