I've been looking for work for at least half a year and have decided to sign up for JSA. What should I expect? As I understand I'm going to be attending an initial interview and if eligible for JSA I will receive it if I follow the 'claimant commitment'. How have you got on after going to the jobcentre- What should I expect? Are you happy with your job you gained through the process?

From what I have heard, expect to be treated like scum. Have low or no expectations anything positive will come out of it and expect your obligations towards the Job Centre to have a higher priority in their eyes to your own priority of finding a job. It seems like a lot of agro for £50 a week.

Good luck!
