Natural blondes have blonde eyebrows?...

i'm naturally blonde, but dark blonde (about two shades lighter than in my profile pic) and i have brown eyebrows but white eyelashes! i have to get my eyelashes tinted otherwise they're see-through, but the eyebrows you see in my profile pic are my natural colour...hmmm.

you definitely can't generalise like that, that's like saying everyone with brown hair has black eyelashes - sure, some do, but my no means all!

I'm the opposite to grace it looks like. Brown lashes (though with lighter tips) but pale eyebrows, the same sort of colour as my hair. It's kinda handy, as it means I don't need to worry about plucking as much. It does leave my eyes not well framed though. If that makes any sense.

Yeah... Plucking is annoying for me, but i just get them waxed every few months so helps alot!

Oh strange that you have a mix! I don't think i'd like light eyebrows, but probably just becase i'm use to having dark ones!

A girl at my school used to have hair that was so blonde it looked white- but her eye brows were really dark- almost black.

She looked like a badger.

i have really blonde hair, really blonde eyelashes and really blonde eyebrows.

I love my eyelashes cos they're so long but i can only use clear mascara or ocasionally blue (if im feeling funky) i dont suit black or brown at all.

But i love my hair and i wouldnt change it for different colours.

I am blonde (something between light blonde and dark blonde :smile:

) and I have blond eyebrows and light-brown eyelashes.
And if I use a black mascara I look ridiculous because at the beginning me eyelashes always stay light brownie, no matter what :biggrin:

Watching '10 Years Younger' atm, and Nikki just said 'problem with being a natural blonde is that you have blonde eyebrows and invisible eyelashes'...

I'm at natural blonde, and have brown eyebrows/eyelashes, and it's one of the things the reeeeeally irritates me when someone makes that comment - as it's just not true!!

So was just wondering if any of you have this problem also? Or if it's a genetic thing and i'm just a small minority?... lol sorry, end of rant!

Yeah I have naturally blonde hair, yet dark eyebrows, and really dark long eyelashes...that's the main reason I dye my hair, it looks more natural than when it is actually natural!

I have mid-dark blonde hair naturally(depending on sunexposure levels) but I have dark eyebrows and near black eyelashes and have always done. Even when I was little and my hair was much much lighter I still had dark eyebrows so I think it's a definite myth.

When I used to have really light blonde hair (naturally), my eyebrows were dark blonde/light brown.
Now that my hair has become darker, I have medium-brown eyebrows.

So don't worry Libby, you're perfectly fine! :p:

Just something that annoys me!

My hair has recently gone alot darker (a manky brown/blonde...lol!) due to treatment shampoos ive had to use, but even with my brown eyebrows it just doesn't look right!... Yet if i dyed my hair back to my natural blonde (which i am doing!) i''ll get all the comments again!... Oh well!

I'm an ex-child blonde with mousy blonde/brown hair on top of my head and the underneath layers of hair a more defined brown, yet I've always had blonde eyelashes and blonde eyebrows, so it can work the other way. I have to wear brown mascara because black looks very articifical and reminescent of A Clockwork Orange on me.
