need some new musica bc i know all the lyrics to mine and my revision turns into a karoake party

    any suggestions?

i like bmth's sempiternal and thats the spirit albums
    avenged sevenfold all albums
    all halseys stuff
    5sos all their stuff
broods, amber run, rizzle kicks, onlycertain songs of theirs

yeah something calm and study appropriate don't be recommending some proper heavy metal screaming

some similar bands: jacks mannequin, patent pending (douchebag is a gr8 song), la dispute, rise against, brand new, modest mouse.

i know how you feel with lyrics though. two steps from hell has epic lyric-less stuff

Theres are many Spotify playlists for it. It's under the focus genre. I usually listen to the instense studying playlist as it helps me concentrate

I search for "calming/relaxation music" on Youtube. I find that music with lyrics distracts me.

Mostly music with a classical; melodic feel to 'em. Haywyre's one artist I really love who hits the spot just right. Varien's another with his 'ancient' sounds

I usually go for the old fashioned Silence, classical music was thought to improve performance, but according to new studies a quiet environment is linked to better grades... Anyway if you want to listen to some music go for instrumentals or apps like MyNoise which allows you to customise natural sounds (in a waterfall noise for example you can choose to turn the volume up/down to the various component of the whole sound making it as personalised as possible)
A final personal advice: Avoid listening to songs/bands you particularly enjoy as you more likely than not will end up air drumming/air guitaring the whole thing while thinking "Screw that Math problem"

    Hope this helps

    Show

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QNfQq_z255c PIXL - The Escape. The drop is rather calming. It's like it's telling you 'it's okay'.
