just wanted some opinion. if girls dress really tarty in short skirts or tight clothing, or bright makeup, is this attractive to men? i mean my bfs often will look at girls dressed like this, but they often get annoyed if i dress the same way. why is this? and why do men prefer relationships with girls who dress this way? if i wear tighter clothes will this get me a bf?

On a physical level, I suppose that girls in tight clothes are more attractive, but I don't think many guys would want their girlfriend going around with them looking like a tart.
The answer is, it's hard not to look at girls wearing slutty clothes, but they're not the sort of girls you'd like to go on a date with.

Erm....i wouldnt prefer a girl who dressed like a tart, its just telling about someones behaviors. Wearing tighter clothes may get you more attention, but not always the right kind.

i mean you guys have said, men dont want their gfs looking like a tart, but it is these girls that get the most attention from guys and bfs.
i think i'd feel embarrassed going to uni weaingin skinny ('skintight') jeans with stillettos, and tops which are so tight (not necessarilty low ) that show the shappe of the breast. but men seem to like girls that dress like this.
decent girls who wear looser or more covered up clothes might be attractive but no one wants to date tehm. which is better and what would you think if you saw two girls, one dressed nicely and the other dressed tightly

Since when did wearing tight jeans or a top that fits mean you're not a decent girl? That's absolute rubbish.

There's a difference between wearing a tshirt and 'really tight clothes'. Besides you're completely contradicting yourself - it's so indecent to wear tight clothes yet it's decent to try and 'get more'?

just wear regular jeans, maybe a "skinny fit" top (they're not usually too tight) and "nice" guys (ie. ones who don't just wanna shag you then dump you) will probably like you. look like a slag and you'll get treated like one.

where did i say it was indecent? i didnt say that girls who dress in revealing ways have no morals. im assuming thats what men think though, thats why they like them.
i find it a bit embarrassing, not that im fat or anything, i just am not sure i'd feel comfortable revealing my body in skintight clothes. but if this is what men look for when choosing a gf, perhaps it would be beneficial? many of my friends have met nice men this way.

T-shirts really dont have to be that tight to show the shape of the breast, and I personally wouldnt say tight tshirts are tarty, in comparison to ones that are very low cut (They also arent necessarily tarty, but probably more so than ordinary tight tshirts) You seem to be saying two very different things in different posts. Please clarify?
