Btec question? Sport?

Hello, I am studying Btec extended diploma in sport. I have just started my second year and last year these were my grades, I got 4 passes in 4 units, one distinction, and two merits.

I a, aware that I could have done a lot better but due to taking a lot of time off due to mental health as my mom died unfortunately I didn't do as well as other people on my class.

I really Want to go to university to study sports coaching or sports science ao I need the right up as points

I'm not sure how this works, have I messed my chances up because I didn't get all distinctions in the first year? Do the grads from my first year and second get added up as ucas points? If I do well this year can I still get enough points?

I'm so confused sorry :frown:
