Didn't the piercer tell you how to care for it?

When I got mine done, I used to make sure I turned them around in my ear twice a day to stop them from sticking. Oh and also I cleaned the gunk off with something but I can't remember what I used....TCP is coming into my head but I doubt that's right - that would have stung, and I don't remember stinging.

Hmm...not sure what I used to gently clean gunk off. It was a long time ago. Maybe it was TCP on cotton wool. Hmm...

I guess that must've been it then.

I have just let all of my peircings do their own thing, unless they seem to be getting infected like my top hole did (I took it out, cleaned the hole and stud in saltwater then put sudocream on the earlobe), I just make sure I turn them and wash off any gunk in the shower or bath and they were fine.
