17. 16 if you must.

Hmmm... personally at that age I wouldn't go lower than 17, and that would be for a good reason too.

At 21 you end up being just too mature to still put up with someone too young.

Reply 5

Absolute lowest I'd go is 19.

However the lowest you absolutley should go is 16-17.

As others have said you will probably notice a big difference in maturity/life experience anyway.

You are an adult, I think you can go for something between the age of seventeen and twenty. Anything below 17 is too young.

Reply 7

18, really. At a push 17, but you'd probably want to do things like go out to bars with your group of friends and she simply wouldn't be able to integrate like that because of legal issues. I would have thought there'd be too great a difference between you two if she was any younger than 18, but obviously that depends on the two of you as individuals.

Any younger than 18 is pushing it.

There are no age limits imo, but of course there will inevitably be differences in the way you think, your roles, experience levels (beyond sexual - mental, life experiences etc).

Age doesn't matter when a lot of people can share similar interests, views and experiences regardless, but there will be a few issues with a big age gap (imo, 14 should really be the cut off point)

11 is the number of this post. I'd probably not date anyone not old enough to get served.

so many paedophiles here,

Never been out with anyone more than 18 months my junior personally.
Up to you mate. Your old enough and ugly enough to work out these things for yourself armed with common sense.

You also have to question the question of emotional maturity: there are a lot of emotionally mature 17-or 18-year-olds about, just as there are very immature 21-year-olds.

The rule is, half your age plus seven.

The rule is, half your age plus seven.

so if you're 2, you can only date someone 8 plus, that sucks

The rule only comes into effect around the usual time you start getting into relationships; that is, when half your age is greater than or equal to seven.

go for an older woman - young girls are too much of a headache, and theyre just as promiscuous as young men.

find a girl whose looking for security and reliability - youll thank me  (

id suggest 23-25

however, dont be a paedo - if you want a younger girl, find one you can introduce to your parents - 19 or older !

I'd say 17...but why are you asking this? What's the big deal.
