I think a crush develops when you find something you really like about a person, usually a combination of things like their appearance, how they treat you, how you can talk to them. Perhaps it could even purely be on an apperance level, or a desire level - you may find qualities that you want to be or you want to find in a partner.

When I get all excited by a phonecall or text, going to see them brings a big smile to my face, laugh when people ask me about them, and insist that, "No but he's a really good guy so I'm perfectly happy being just friends!". Then discuss his attractive traits rather too logically. Cos friends do that like :wink:

It's quite silly really, but fun :smile:

a crush? usually if its unlikely to be reciprocated and you're focussing slightly less on their personality.

and i would generally describe it as a crush if you are below the age of 15.

It's the same with celebs.

Some of my friends are like..."Ooo he's fit..." I don't see celebs in that way! Lol.!

:dito: I'm *never* attracted to someone without knowing them first, I find it physically impossible - which is pretty good I guess.

Except for the following: Johnny Depp and Gael Garcia Bernal. I don't 'fancy' them, but I do think they are exceptionally attractive men with amazing acting talent.

There a few celebs that are attractive, but I don't actually fancy them.

And I agree with you on the bit about without knowing them first.

It helps to know people first anyhow! Lol.
