How about clearing?

gut feeling (and maybe a shot of bias) Sussex

I suggest you wait and see what happens with K+UCL before you start condemning yourself to defeat. Also pingwe... why do you suggest clearing? Ever thought that maybe the OP would be happy at one of these unis, not everyone in the whole country wants to/can go to one of the very top unis, and anyway you probably wont find much better in clearing.

As per usual, go on your gut preference subjectively... don't pay much attention to what those on here say because they don't know as much as some would like to think they do.

Sussex. Although a first from either would be good, I suspect.

Reply 5

Clearly Sussex. Sussex is a good university, surely?

You're from Australia, unless you have a good working knowledge of British universities, then it seems like you're going by the name.

I'm sure Sussex has historical links.

Plus, they're both good unis. As stated, a first in law from either will not be bad at all for the OP.

he is a 2nd yr at Liverpool uni too. adn lives in London lol

NO offence, but a first in law is not something which you will automaticallget if you go to one of these two institutions... you're speaking as if it's only a question of whose first is worth more, which is a bit narrow-minded.

Reply 9

You couldn't offend me.

Reply 10

Probably not, but I'm not even trying to. Just out of interest, why did you say that a first from either would put the poster in good stead. Granted, it's true, but does that mean you consider a 2:1 to be worthless from them?

No, I just think that everyone should aim high.
