My psych teacher has told us to write an evaluation of the behaviourist approach for homework, but has literally told us NOTHING about how to do it. I'm on AQA if that's any help

I don't do Psychology, but as a Sociology student, evaluation usually means identifying the strengths and weaknesses of theory/approach in question.

Perhaps look in your textbook? Look for things such as whether the approach is valid / reliable / whether it provides a clear explanation etc.

http://www.psychologistworld.com/iss...alapproach.php You could do the weaknesses like other evidence too. I do Edexcel A2 Psychology. talk about whether the approach is reliable, valid, objective, etc one thing you could say for a strength is that behaviourists think that empirical evidence is very important.
