Are you at Leeds atm? And it all really depends on whether you want to go private or stay in halls

Looking to apply for leeds, september 2016. I get a 6.5k grant for accommodation food etc, and am looking to go into student halls for the first year. was just wondering if that would be enough or i would need more.

My accommodation (halls - UEA) comes to just under £5k a year. I find that books, food and unavoidable expenses like laundry can really add up, though if you budget and search for good deals, that can be avoided. But then my loan didn't even cover my accommodation, so I'm never quite sure how far other people's loans/grants would go.
