Everyday i go to college im being verbally bullied by my so called friends i only hang around with them because we share the same intrests. They know im a soft target as i dont reply back and try to laugh it off, but now it's getting to the point i can't handle its happen all the time. I've bullied since i was in primary school and now im in college. Im thinking of leaving college because of the bullying.

Well..why don't you stand up to it? There's nothing wrong with confronting someone for saying something that's offensive to you, they deserve it! Why should some bully losers be making YOU change where you go, that's not fair!

Stop hanging around with them.

I agree with what scarecrow jack said, you have to stand up to it or it'll just continue. Leaving college is just running away from the problem. You have to take control of your life at some stage and if you constantly let yourself get walked all over then you'll never get anywhere. Sort it out.

stand up for yourself - if you do it now - you gain self-confidence and they will know not to mess with you

It's harder than it sounds to stand up for yourself. And could just make them bully you even more or they get angry.
But it is something that the OP needs to learn how to do. It comes down to "fight or flight."

Sounds like there's something wrong with your personality that's allowing people to continuously treat you this way.

Stand up for yourself for a change. Your confidence will grow and in turn you'll be confident to stand up for yourself again... it's a multiplier effect.

I used to be bullied, very badly I might add but today I'm very popular (I feel so American at the moment :/) and I'd never dream of allowing anyone to talk to me in a way I disaproved of. Actually, come to think of it - I was at work earlier (bar work) and I told a guy he had to go to the other bar to use his card and he told me to "**** off."

Like a reflex action, I straight away said: "Who the **** do you think you're talking to?" and straight away he apologised.

...easy. But then again I am a 6.1" 20 year old. Meh.

Anyway... start early and good things will happen.
