Different Religious Background, Parents Won't Accept

Me and this guy really like each other and have so for two years. We aren't religious, but our parents are strict about it. Not sure if we should get into a relationship, although we do see something long-term. I don't want any complications from either side, as I don't want to ruin current ties.

Advice?

You are not very clear. Do your parents not agree?
Edge of seat stuff.

if you're under 18 i guess your parents have a point but if you're over then i don't see why it should be a problem.

You know what I really dislike about this ****ing law? As soon as you turn 18 you're old enough to know life decisions.

Bad advice m8.

Sorry. I mean I just know they won't agree. Massive religious differences.

I'm over 18 and so is he, but it'll put a strain on everything. I'll find it a little hard to let go if that's the case.

Now that is weird. Why Muslim?

I'm sure it'll be the same with his family. They would want you to convert to Islam before marriage.

Cruel world.

Lol I knew it.

Well sh*t, if your were Jewish or Christian then if wouldn't be much of a problem.

But Sikh and Muslim? Oh dear. Yeah those are vastly different. Sorry but I can't offer any advice, I won't pretend to know what you should do.

Not a problem.. It's just difficult and I don't think i can even continue to be friends with him if I detach myself from having feelings for him.
