Should i go to Leeds Beckett?
Hi, im Chris and im not sure to apply to Leeds Beckett University. I heard from some people it is bad and im asking you to see whether i will actually get a job at the end of it and not just a piece of paper which i could print off the internet?

Psychology anywhere is hardly the most employable? You need experience wherever you go.

I live in Leeds and really have heard nothing but good things about Leeds Beckett. The only reason why it's bad in the rankings is because it focuses on teaching and doesn't do much research. Leeds is a great place to live. The nightlife is incredible and the shopping is fantastic. The accommodation I've also heard is really great.

Beckett is good for sports, nursing and primary teaching. Go to univ of leeds for psychology. Overall Beckett is ok but will always be seen as in the shaddow of univ of leeds with the exception of the above subjects.

With the amount of graduates being churned out each year no-one will guarantee a job at the end. Psychology is very popular at the moment with relatively few jobs available in the field afterwards.
The uni's reputation isn't the greatest or most well known, but that's unlikely to mean much to the vast majority of [potential] applicants. You should choose positive reasons for picking a uni rather than negative ones.

Hi not a great uni , I suffer with endometriosis and had no support what so ever and I failed a placement due to a chronic illness and now can never be a nurse would not recommend.
