yeah. that seems very true. maybe you just need to let out something which you are holding in. or you feel panicked or something. :hugs:

I get like that sometimes, it's nothing to worry about. Sometimes you just need that little cry to make yourself feel better. It will just be hormones, don't worry.

Reply 6

You could just be really tired.

Sometimes we just cry for no reason, a lot of people do it. Ever laughed for no particular reason? This is like the crying version of that. It's kind of a weird thing to do I guess, yet quite common.

Reply 8

All the time because stressed/fed up etc.... lots of people do it.

I cant go for a week without crying, or i just do cry for no reason: i have kinda accepted im a bit weird :P but also i have a lot of issues that some people can just brush off but if ive had a rubbish day then it can just push me over the edge and ill cry - but i find it gives me a bit of a release and i usually feel a little better afterwards - if not a little silly  xx

Crying is good for you
Lately I've been crying like a baby like once a week or couple of weeks...I don't know exactly why, but it helps it's like an easy release.

See, I'm more worried about the fact I don't seem to be able to cry. Even when I'm stupidly upset the most that happens is that I well up.

Some people say it's unhealthy, but who ever said you have to let emotion out? I deal with my feelings quietly or through talking and other means, either way - my feelings, issues, etc are resolved. Would you define resolution as being unhealthy?

Hehe, I love tangents.

OP - Probably hormones, depression or alcohol.

Take your pick.

lol ye i sometimes have this.... like once a month.... hormones probably....

I ditto hormones as well, they can make you feel pretty messed up! If you're at home, maybe go see your mum/dad & just ask for a hug whilst you cry, this always made me feel better than crying by myself.

Yeah, I get random crying. It can be good, you feel sort of refreshed and cleansed afterwards. It's probably just a combination of all the rubbish things in your life coming out when you've had a bit of a tough day or something. A good sob every so often is important, let stuff out! I go through phases of crying every couple of days, haven't cried in about a week which is good but feel like crying tonight :frown: Hugs are good, get someone to give you a cuddle and that should cheer you up

I sometimes cry when i am frustrated at everything though not any of them is actually significant enough to make me REALLY upset and cry. So basically little things build up and i just let it out through some tears, and generally i do feel calmer afterwards. I never used to cry much, or at all, but i have started to quite a bit since last year.
