York Notes or Brodie's Notes

Well for GCSE i'm studying of mice and men and a view from the bridge.

For a view from the bridge there are only york notes but which one is better the old copy (the red one) or the new copy (the one with a bridge on the cover)

Then for of mice and men there are notes by both brodie's and york, so which is better and if it is york notes, same question the old copy or the new one.

I've never used Brodie's notes, so I vote York Notes because I know they're good. I'd always go for the newest copy because it's likely to have the most up to date information, so there might be some newer analyses that don't appear in the old copy.
