Right now I'm in year 11 and I need to pick my a level subjects but my school's GCSE options sucked. We got to choose 3 subjects but were made to pick a language and either history or geography, which meant we only really got to choose one. The way the blocks worked didn't really give me a lot of choice so I picked French, History and Sociology (as well as the compulsory ones).
Photography wasn't offered but I really want to do it at A Level because I enjoy it so much. Would I be able to do it?

This'll probably be too late, but in general yes, as not all secondary schools even offer photography as a GCSE.

In most cases, this is something that you will need to speak to your potential college about.

For Photography or any other Artistic subject, a GCSE in Art may be required.

Hi I'm doing photography at AS without doing any GCSE art/design subject.
I'm currently enjoying it a lot and would reccomend it to anyone if you're willing to put the time and effort into the course.
My secondary school didn't offer photography
