google might help with what allergic reaction symptoms are common with stings?
um, wasp stings just do hurt. Sorry!
If you were allergic you would have collapsed at the scene and died, and seeing as you havn't I'm guessing not:p:

At this time of year?

And no if you were allergic you wouldn't have collapsed on the scene and died, there is a huge range in the severity of allergic reactions. I'm pretty badly allergic to them, but there isn't much you can do, take a piriton tablet, you can get them over the counter and they may help to reduce swelling.

edit: didn't see your last question there, the answer is yes, but chances are not from this wasp sting.

Oops sorry:redface: just seen ppl collapse on telly from it and got the wrong end of the stick!
Maybe you do have an allergic reaction to it, I once got one on my lip, swelled up to about 3 times its normal size, nice!
Not that I am allergic, just making the point the effects can be horrible and unpleasant.
I guess it depends on HOW much it is hurting you...
Woo! Summer's here!

On a more sympathetic note: man up - it's just a wasp sting, you'll be fine tomorrow. And no, you won't die.

If you were having a severe allergic reaction you would have had it long before now. Allergies take minutes to flare up, so don't worry you're definitely not in any danger. How swollen is the area around the sting? If it is extremely swollen then you might be having a mild reaction.

Wasp stings do continue to hurt for several hours. The best thing to do is to take an antihistamine and dab some bleach on the spot where you were stung. It sounds crazy, but I've been stung by bloody wasps so much and it really works.

Our dog (golden retriever) wanted a bumble bee as a pet. On several occasions I would go out to her in the back garden and see her licking something in the grass.

Upon investigation I would often discover a live bumble bee in her paws with all its fur slicked back.
