I've just started Year 12 and I'm studying Biology, Chemistry, History and Advanced Welsh Baccalaureate.

Probably, they'd want the Biology and Chem.

Is the advanced welsh baccalaureate equivalent to an AS level? Most universities want 4AS for entry

You'll need to do a fourth AS or an EPQ for most medical schools because they want four AS subjects. The Advanced Welsh Baccalaureate is worth 120 UCAS points so it's the same as an A at A Level in that sense. However, not all medical schools accept it as such and I'm not sure that the ones that do will accept it in place of a fourth AS.
