Social life at LSE???

I want to apply to LSE to study Economics and it looks brilliant in terms of the academic aspect. However, I am becoming slightly worried as I have heard people say the social life in terms of clubbing etc. is terrible in the sense that the students are focused academically and never want to go out, socialise etc.
Current LSE students is this true, will I be able to enjoy myself there??

Just choose a hall known for being social - like Passfield, Rosebery or Carr-Saunders and I'm sure you will have no problem getting to know lots of like minded people who enjoy clubbing, etc.

I'm sure most of the other halls are social too, but I guess these ones have the good reputation for a reason.

I've only been there for a week and a half but passfield is very social! I've only been out twice but that's just me--most people are out more often than that. Lots of people go to the pub or just hang around in the garden in the evenings. It's fun
