I am still on the mend following the fracturing of my collarbone into three pieces. As a result, the consultant told me that backpacking is completely out of the question. My friends and I have long been planning to backpack around Europe; it looks like the whole thing is off.

I was also planning to cycle to the Isle of Wight for a camping holiday. Cycling is no longer a viable option, and I may have to pull out of this one. I am also to go on a free activity trip with the school for a few days after the exams. I hope I can still make this.

I also have to do all my exams wearing a sling. Although I have special considerations, it is still something not to be happy about. Hopefully I shall be able to go on some form of proper holiday with my friends. I'm still able to go to New York with my family in September though.

Dude that sucks! Make the most of your holiday, though. Don't let some stupid injury ruin your fun. I know how annoying it must be to cancel your plans- I almost had to and it really pissed me off.
Do you agree with the proposed ban on plastic straws and cotton buds?
