Anyone had a remark done twice?

On the same paper I mean?

I got my english AS remarked as I thought I'd done well on it, and it went up a grade, but I still think it was worth more marks.

Have anyone put in for a second remark? Or would it be too late to have it remarked now anyway? (I think it probably is actually!).

I'll probably end up resitting it instead, but just wondering x

i doubt it would go up by more than a grade

Is it even possible to get a remark of a remark? Surely if it was worth 2 grades higher than it got, it would have gone up 2 grades?

I think you can only re-mark a module once. After that you may appeal against the decision, however the appeal doesn't usually involve a re-mark. Thats what the edexcel website says over re-marks.

Yes you can and should! My friend got a C in a unit and had a remark but did not go up. The teacher sent back all the papers and the second time she went up to an A! English is definitely dodgy!

Thanks no future, that's what I mean, if it was say chemisty or something then you know if you've got it right or wrong, but english marking is notoriously dodgy.

What's made me think of this is that everyone in my class got really bad mark, I mean the people who dont do any work, and everyone did a resit and a few people who I know did no work, got a few grades higher. I dunno, I might see my exams officer and ask him, it could go down, but if I'm resitting anyway I've got nothing to lose.
