Can you re-apply whilst holding a deferred offer?
Hi,
I applied through UCAS in the 2014-2015 academic year but made a deferred entry as I knew I wouldn't be ready for uni this September. I was forecast AAAB so chose Leeds as my firm and on results day I achieved the grades needed. However, I did a lot better than I ever thought possible and came out with A*A*A*A*. Therefore I have been contemplating re-applying to more ambitious universities such as Oxford or Cambridge, as at GCSE I obtained 2 A*'s and 9 A's as well.
Does anyone know if it is possible to make another application whilst holding a place elsewhere? As a back-up so to speak.
I loved Leeds and would be happy going there but I just wondered if anyone had any advice on what to do. Not sure if it is worth all the extra hassle anyway.
