Did he mean this in a good way or bad way?

A guy introduced me to two girls the other day, and he said that I am directly related to a good looking actor who has the same first name as me, and the two girls laughed (not burst out laughing but just like giggled), so I was just wondering if he meant it in a good way or if he was joking and meant it in a bad / sarcastic way?

Any answers? I am pretty bad at understanding what people mean by stuff which is why i'm asking
If you couldn't understand it on the spot no-one is going to be able to tell you from a description after the event.

I suppose it depends whether you actually are good looking.
