last minute tips.

Hey,i'v not had much self-confidence for a long time and my self esteem is usally low, which makes it hard for me to approach girls.Well thankfully i'v decided that i really need to change, and i vowed to myself that i will be more confident.
So far its been going alrite. But tommorro is the big test because i am going out in the evening and i hope i can be the 'new and confident me'

Any last minute tips anyone can offer would be greatly appreciated,i'm feeling really nervous.

Make plenty of eye contact & smile. It is really daunting talking to new people when you're shy obviously, so its easy to say these things & not be able to do it.
But as daddysprincess says, be yourself, just try hard not to be too shy. If need b, ask ur mates to go up with u in the first place before u get chatting to a girl or ask her if she wants a drink or something. Show an interest in her but not too much & dont get too carried away with talking about ur interests at first. Play it as cool as possible, but dont get too confident!
I'd like to add, that dont worry about the fact that u r shy - I, for example, prefer quieter guys generally though my current bf is an exception  tehre are many of us out there who like a guy who isnt too 'loud' - u just got to find the right one for u
Best of luck!!

Don't use the line:

"Alright Sugar? No not you, the other lump".

It's not good.

Other than that I'd say that you shouldn't pin all your hopes on one night. Confidence is something that builds gradually

Basically, when you want to approach a girl, do so straight away. Once you've spotted her, approach her in under 3 seconds. Then just go on instinct. Don't use chat up lines. If you notice something weird, strange choice of clothes, necklace, whatever - comment on it. "Hey, thats a pretty cool necklace" "Whats that top all about". Else, just ask their name, chat a little, normal stuff.

Don't be afraid to say something controversial. All too often people say and do what they think she wants them to. Say what you want to say, and if she doesn't like it then its her problem. And really, just go there to enjoy, not to pick up girls.

I dont really have anything anything to add from what the others have said. Just wanted to say well done for actually doing something about something that you're not happy with. Hope it goes well for you xx

Id say if you go out looking for something then you wont find it.
I picked up my previous g/f at a gay night of all places.
I was chapparone for two girls that I lived with who wanted to go out. I just stood at the bar looking angry with muh pint of bitter. lol

Just strike up conversation. Doesnt matter if you dont talk to the person the rest of the night just get as far as saying hi to a few randoms.
